As I commemorate my grandmother’s legacy by weaving together the hundreds of pictures sent from family to honor her, I see the love she has given all of us, which seems endless. On one of my birthdays she said she wish she could give me more than the money she put in a card for me, but truly all I ever wanted, I bet she’s told every one of us 50+ grandchildren this, but genuinely all we all ever wanted was her presence, energy and love. There was nothing like it. She survived a WWII occupation, and raised children all on her own who are leaders in finance, government, education, and real estate. She’s made my ballet costumes, 8th grade promotion dress, and first suit (baby blue at my request).
