12 year old me would never believe that one day I’d actually make it to Miami, the real life Vice City! 🎮🌴

From playing the game on a screen to experiencing the vibes in real life. some things hit differently when childhood memories meet reality.

Vice City was always a vibe, but Miami hits different!

Imagine getting paid nearly $90,000 to leave the city behind and start a new life on a peaceful island off the coast of Ireland. 🇮🇪

Ireland’s Our Living Islands initiative aims to breathe new life into some of the country’s most remote offshore communities by offering generous grants to people willing to restore vacant or derelict homes.

Eligible applicants can receive up to €84,000 (approximately $90,000–$100,000, depending on exchange rates) to renovate a derelict property on one of the participating islands.

Picture waking up to ocean views, rolling green hills, quiet villages, and a slower pace of life far removed from crowded cities.

There’s one important catch: the money isn’t simply handed to you for moving. It’s a renovation grant, and applicants must meet property ownership, residency, and other eligibility requirements.

Still, for anyone dreaming of escaping the hustle and bustle, Ireland might offer one of the most interesting opportunities to start fresh.

Would you trade city life for a peaceful Irish island? 🌊
