Illustrated and animated this bokoblin for some practice with character rigging and puppeting. Also my first time doing a living background! Haven’t ever messed with this before so it was really fun to get started. And restarted. And restarted. Many times! I’m excited to continue this exploration, what game/book/movie scene should I animate next?

Coming soon to Low Miles No Miles Auctions is this 38k-Mile 1984 Dodge Caravan Vista Cruiser Conversion! Finished in Blue with period custom striping, this incredibly preserved van shows just 38,355 miles and is powered by a 2.2L four-cylinder paired with something you certainly don’t see in many minivans today: a floor-mounted 5-speed manual.

And this isn’t an ordinary Caravan.

The Vista Cruiser conversion transformed the interior with plush swivel seating, curtains and blinds, ambient lighting, and a rear table ready for a game of checkers. It also retains an incredible collection of period accessories, including stainless running boards, curb feelers, a CB radio, Cobra radar detector, roof visor, polished wheels with Carroll Shelby center caps, and even a vintage portable television included with the sale.

Then LMNM member @wiggzero9 recognized the van.

According to the family history he shared with us, his grandparents Lester Evering and Carol June purchased it new in 1984. After seeing the van online decades later, the color, manual transmission, low mileage, and initials painted on the doors made him realize this may have been his grandparents’ old Caravan.

The selling dealer recently acquired it from its second owner, who reportedly preserved the van as part of a Mopar collection.

1984 was the year that changed the American family vehicle forever. Chrysler introduced the Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager and essentially created the modern American minivan segment. Millions would follow, but very few first-year examples were treated as something worth preserving.

Nearly 43 years later, this 38k-mile, five-speed manual Vista Cruiser conversion remains a remarkably intact snapshot of 1980s American family transportation and custom van culture.

Located in Michigan, this 1984 Dodge Caravan Vista Cruiser is coming soon to Low Miles No Miles Auctions! Follow the auction on LowMilesNoMiles.com to be notified when bidding begins!

He says: “Whether you’ve stood on a crowd line at an airshow, followed our tours online, waved from a garden, school playground or beach, or sent messages of encouragement - your support has never gone unnoticed. It means far more to the Red Arrows than you might realise”.
