It was an honor celebrating my hero, the legend, John Coltrane last night as a special guest with @wyntonmarsalis & the @jazzdotorg orchestra Coltrane: A Love Supreme. It was very special reuniting with the band again to close out the 2020-2021 season. The concert is available on demand for steaming at jazz.org/Coltrane until June 16.
A special thank you to @darrellgreendrummer for staying up many late nights with me to play and “train” for Trane’s music, my mentor @antoine.roney for your spiritual and musical guidance and my family, teachers and friends for being so supportive and loving throughout the years.
