🎤🛏️ INTRODUCING LAY-DOWN COMEDY! I’ve been wanting to try my comedy routine at an open mic for a while now, but traditional stand-up isn’t exactly the most accessible format. So I thought, why not make something different? I’m working on launching Lay-Down Comedy, a free, virtual, 18+ comedy open mic by and for Disabled people! The idea is to create an accessible, low-pressure space where Disabled people can try comedy, share their humor, and connect with one another. Whether you’re an experienced comedian or you’ve never performed before, there’s room for you here. And despite the name, you don’t actually have to be lying down. 😂 Perform from your bed, wheelchair, couch, or wherever works for you. Use AAC, read from notes, or perform however you’re comfortable. All types of comedy are welcome, from absurd storytelling and observational humor to dry, deadpan comedy, satire, and everything in between. Your jokes don’t have to be about disability! Non-Disabled people will be welcome to attend as audience members after agreeing to community guidelines, but the stage will belong to Disabled performers. BUT FIRST, I NEED SOME CO-ORGANIZERS! 🌟 I’m looking for other Disabled people who might be interested in helping with accessibility planning, event logistics, moderation, outreach, and generally bringing this idea to life. You don’t need organizing experience, and I want the planning process itself to be accessible, collaborative, and flexible around people’s capacities. We’re still in the early planning stages, so there’s no event date or performer registration yet. 💌 Interested in helping organize? DM me! And if you’d love to attend or perform at an event like this, feel free to share this post and help spread the word! The bar is low. Mostly because we’re lying down. ID in pinned comment

36 years of friendship, countless memories, and the same effortless chemistry. ❤️☕ Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor brought back a little nostalgia on Koffee With Karan 9, reminding everyone why their bond has remained so special over the years. From revisiting their first meeting to sharing funny stories from their film shoots, their conversation was full of the kind of comfort that only comes with knowing someone for decades. The funniest part? When the conversation turned to their friendship and relationships, Salman’s playful teasing made it clear that even after all these years, their banter hasn’t changed one bit. 😂 🎬 Show: Koffee With Karan — Season 9 🎙️ Host: Karan Johar ⭐ Guests: Salman Khan & special guest Karisma Kapoor ☕ Episode: Season Premiere 📺 Platform: JioHotstar Some friendships don’t need a script. The memories, the teasing and the laughter tell the whole story. ❤️ #SalmanKhan #KarismaKapoor #KoffeeWithKaran #KWK9 #Bollywood
