Titanium Sunday!
This is CP1 (Commercially Pure 1) 1mm/.039" thick, 1.5" pie cut tube.
To give you an idea of cost for this little piece is 60 bucks. So when I get ready for customers...don't be sticker shocked. Or find a new metal.
This is my first time welding titanium. I've touched it before here in my garage, but had improper argon coverage/supplies.
Got some small stuff to work through, mainly travel speed. Some penetration on the inside, which is subsequent to travel speed. I was moving too fast for the puddle to drop inside. Slow down, and bada bing.
Amp settings dialed it, gas flow, dialed in, proper equipment, dialed in.
This is my junk piece, so my next peices will be production quality. Hopefully lol.
