๐Ÿ’”MY BEST PACKAGE. MY WORST PLACEMENT ๐Ÿฅน This is the side of competing I ALMOST DIDNT SHAREโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป Youโ€™ve seen my wins, my happiest moments. But what about the losses? Especially the ones hardest to understand? Last weekend, I stepped on stage with what my coach and I believed was my BEST package yet. Conditioning, posing, presentationโ€”we brought EVERYTHING weโ€™d worked for. Expectations were high. And I placed 10th. TENTH. ๐Ÿ˜ณ Iโ€™d be lying if I said it didnโ€™t hurt. It did. A LOT. But hereโ€™s what this experience is teaching meโ€ฆ You can do EVERYTHING right, give EVERYTHING youโ€™ve got, and STILL not get the outcome you hoped for. Thatโ€™s the reality of a subjective sport. You control your preparation, not the final decision. And you CANNOT let that define your worth. Iโ€™m still processing this one, but something else happenedโ€ฆ IT LIT A FIRE IN ME THAT CANNOT BE PUT OUT. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Because winning feels incredible, but losses REVEAL who we are. Do we shrink? Give up? Or rise stronger and become a force that CANNOT be ignored? A placement doesnโ€™t define me. WHAT I DO NEXT WILL. And through it all, the biggest highlight of my weekend? THE PEOPLE! โค๏ธ New friendships and beautiful connections with @jenniferdorie_ifbbpro , @britthamilton_ifbbpro , @tcrowellfit Alongside those already part of it, @elainegoodlad @shelbs_ifbbpro_ @drdove_ifbbpro @jamidebernard , @ari_ifbbpro @crystalomalza_ifbbpro and of course, my rock, my husband Brian. โค๏ธ I walked away with so much more than a placement. For that, I couldnโ€™t be happier or more grateful! ๐Ÿ™ Iโ€™m sharing this because maybe youโ€™ve given your absolute BEST and still walked away questioning everything. I SEE YOU. โค๏ธ Itโ€™s okay to feel disappointed. Just donโ€™t let disappointment become defeat. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปTHIS STORY ISNโ€™T OVER. NOT EVEN CLOSE. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Have you ever experienced a loss that lit an even BIGGER fire in you? Iโ€™d love to hear your story. โค๏ธ @mariaromerobikinis made my most beautiful bikini โค๏ธโค๏ธ#ifbbproleague#bikinicompetitor#bikimiprep#bikinibodybuilding#mastersbikinicompetitor
