While we're on the topic of birth...I cannot speak highly enough of having a supportive, loving, knowledgeable and encouraging birth team! These two people! There aren't enough words to share how thankful I am for them. They stayed right there with me EVERY step of the way through my birthing time. They provided physical and emotional support that helped me feel safe, secure and capable during each powerful pressure and pushing wave!

The power of having a birth team that knows you and understands and respects your desires is something that can't be underestimated. That's another key difference between my first and second birthing days. I was educated and felt ready, but the added judgment-free, encouraging and unwavering support of people who love me was invaluable!
