THE SECRET IS FINALLY OUT! 🏡❤️ As our kids have gotten older, our house has somehow gotten smaller and smaller. 😂 For the past five years, we’ve been searching for our forever home. We wanted our own version of Turkey Hill, @marthastewart48 former Colonial-style home in Connecticut, complete with a few acres, farm animals, beautiful gardens, and the convenience of being right in town. Basically, we wanted a little farm without actually living out in the country. 😂 Thomas dreamed of an older home full of character and charm, much like the house in his favorite movie, The Family Stone. I wanted acreage for our animals, plenty of room for the kids, and all the modern updates that make an older home easier to live in. After five years of touring countless houses, finding everything on our wish list started to feel impossible. In fact, just two months ago, we met with a builder to start planning our dream home. And then, just when we’d nearly given up on finding it, the house we’d spent five years searching for came on the market. The timing couldn’t have felt more perfect. Sooo…WE BOUGHT OUR FOREVER HOME! 🥹❤️ It checks nearly every box on our wish list, and while there are plenty of projects we’re already dreaming about, that’s what makes this next chapter so exciting! We can’t wait to bring you along as we restore, renovate, and make this beautiful old house our own. We’re going to be documenting the whole thing, so we hope you stick around for the entire journey. Here’s to our next chapter and a lifetime of memories! 🏡❤️ PS: comment “Secret” and we’ll send you the link to our new blog ALL about it! #mlm #husbands
