The distance some of y’all put between yourselves and “the bad white people” is doing a lot of work, and I watch what your politics look like when nobody can award you progressive points for them.

The essay this comes from is on my Substack, and the actual skills, confronting what whiteness taught you about whose judgment matters, boundaries without domination, repair without centering yourself, live in the Relational Skills for Liberation Toolkit.

Comment WORKBOOK for your copy.

If fat loss has stalled, don’t immediately cut calories and add more cardio.

First check whether your routine has actually been consistent long enough to judge.

For the next 2 weeks:

💪🏼 Keep your steps and training the same.
💪🏼 Track your morning weight and compare weekly averages, not single days.
💪🏼 Log food as accurately as you can, including weekends, drinks and little bites.
💪🏼 Go to bed at the same time everyday.
💪🏼 Keep your water intake consistent ( having cute shaker helps 😏)

If the average still isn’t moving, adjust one thing, then give it time again.

A few days of scale changes can come from water, digestion or your cycle. You need time and consistency to judge accurately.
