TNHT Staff: @YesThatsDee ________________ Neighbors, this is COLD! A 20-year-old Houston woman and her boyfriend are facing capital murder charges after police say an alleged robbery plot ended with her own sister shot dead. ________________ According to court documents, Alaya Sadae Jones, 20, and her boyfriend, Kaleb John Maglott, 25, are accused in the killing of Jones’ 27-year-old sister. A concerned relative reportedly went to check on the victim after not hearing from her and found her unresponsive on the floor of her apartment with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene. ________________ Investigators say surveillance footage allegedly showed Jones leaving the apartment complex in her sister’s vehicle while Maglott left in another vehicle. Police later reportedly found the victim’s vehicle parked next to a vehicle rented by Maglott. ________________ Both were taken into custody, and authorities say Jones admitted to detectives that she was involved in her sister’s death. Police allege the killing happened while the pair were attempting to rob the victim. ________________ Jones and Maglott are now facing capital murder charges.
