Multiple surfing media outlets are reporting an Australian girl was harmed during an incident involving multiple men. Alan Cleland Jr has been suspended in the wake of the allegations, which are described as 'deeply concerning in nature'. “The World Surf League confirms that a competitor on the 2026 Men’s Championship Tour has been suspended after the WSL was recently made aware of allegations of a deeply serious nature involving the competitor,” the World Surf League said. “The allegations involve conduct in relation to a private gathering in Tahiti in August. "The gathering was not affiliated with the WSL. All WSL competitors are bound by the conduct standards outlined in the WSL Rule Book, at all times. "After being informed of the allegations, the WSL Discipline Committee took prompt action and issued a provisional suspension to the competitor from all WSL events.” Tahitian longboarder and photographer Vaimiti Teiefitu said on her Instagram page that three men were involved. “Recently, something extremely disturbing happened here in Teahupo’o, involving a young girl, ” she said. “I’m still waiting to learn more about the situation, but what I’ve heard is deeply concerning, especially knowing that the three people reportedly involved are known in the community.” ❤️SUPPORT MY WORK❤️ You can support The RED HEART Movement and Australian Femicide Watch by grabbing a RED HEART t-shirt or making a donation! 100% of money raised funds support for bereaved families and an apartment for women leaving domestic violence. “The cowards never started, the weak died along the way. Guess that leaves us” I ran a half marathon back in August around 1 hour and 11 minutes. Most “experts” and coaches in running would’ve told me the following: “Double your half marathon time and add 6 minutes. That’s what you’ll run for a full.” There’s something important to know, most people want to put you into a box because it makes their life easier. It’s a weak approach and if you aren’t careful, you will be told what you’re capable of before even stepping foot on the course. I hate that and reject what most limits are because it’s lazy thinking Long story short, if I would’ve believed the traditional way I would’ve ran a 2:28 marathon at best. Instead I ran 5 minutes faster To quote the great Katie Heron, “The limit does not exist.” Expect more from yourself and you’ll get more in return 🎥: @247represent
