I went to a pub next to/part of ground zero a few years back. Guy behind the bar told me a stunning story about his experience as a then employee of the place. He bought me a drink then stapled my patch over my spot at the bar. Guy thanked me for my service. I was floored because I couldn’t and never will hold a candle to what he had just told me. Best thing I can do is remember it and not forget the point of it all. 20 years since 911. It really was a new day of infamy, the tough attitude of the people of NYC is what will always make me believe that hard work and ambition wins out over any challenge #oharaspub #37 #LOCAL94 I.A.F.F.
