I love being a woman. Independent, self-sufficient, ambitious. Always learning, always growing. From a young age, I wanted to stand on my own two feet. And I have. I also love sharing my life with Martin, and being Finn’s mother is more than I ever dared to hope for. It took me forever to find Martin. Before him, I often couldn’t imagine spending my whole life beside the men I dated. Honestly, I got bored. I followed my own path, and it usually led somewhere different from theirs. Martin’s path runs alongside mine. Sometimes we drift a little, sometimes life gets terribly dull, haha. Loving someone doesn’t switch off my need for adventure. I love change, a challenge, a new idea. I’m always seeing possibilities and dreaming about things I still want to do. Motherhood and my relationship with Martin are my constants. If he said tomorrow, “Dee, let’s move to…” I’d probably start packing. Depending a little on where, obviously. 😉 I’ve spent my working life being my own boss, building businesses and making my own decisions. More boyish than girly, not much into fuss, but increasingly drawn to the energy of women as I grow older. Women who support other women are my kind of women. In a world where men still hold so much power, supporting each other is a necessity. Challenging the patriarchy also happens in everyday choices: taking women seriously, valuing their work, opening doors and celebrating their success. Today’s power outfit is AndBloom. I love the masculine feel, paired with this beautiful dark blue bag gifted to me by @demellierlondon from their collaboration with @greceghanem I’m so proud of Grece. Seeing her creativity celebrated makes carrying it even more special. I’m a feminist, and I love my men with all my heart. Independence and female selflove fit beautifully into the same life. ❤️ #womencommunity #empoweredwomenempowerwomen

3 EASY ways I sneak more protein and fiber into my diet! Eating enough protein and fiber doesn’t have to be complicated or boring. Small changes to meals you’re already making can help support muscle growth, digestion, satiety, and overall health. Here are 3 recipes that make it easier to get more nutrients in without sacrificing FLAVOR! Save these for later! 1️⃣HIGH-PROTEIN GREEN PEA CHICKEN SALAD * 2 cups frozen peas, cooked * 6 oz grilled chicken, shredded * ¼ cup diced red onion * 2 tbsp diced celery (optional) * 2-3 tbsp plain Greek yogurt * 2 tbsp shaved Parmesan * Juice of ½ lemon * 1 tbsp fresh dill * 1 tbsp Dijon mustard * Drizzle of honey (optional) * Salt, pepper & garlic powder to taste Mix everything together and enjoy! Peas provide plant protein and fiber, while chicken and Greek yogurt boost the protein content. 2️⃣DULCE DE LECHE PROTEIN LATTE * TRU Dulce de Leche @tru_supplements Protein * 10 oz almond milk * Cinnamon * Splash of vanilla extract * Coconut whipped cream Blend protein, almond milk, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth. Microwave for 45 seconds, then top with coconut whipped cream. A delicious way to get extra protein while satisfying that sweet tooth! 3️⃣QUINOA & BLACK BEAN MORO * 1 tbsp avocado oil * ½ small onion, diced * ½ red bell pepper, diced * 2 garlic cloves, minced * ½ tsp ground cumin * ¼ tsp smoked paprika * ½ tsp kosher salt * ¼ tsp black pepper * ¾ cup quinoa, rinsed * 1½ cups chicken bone broth * 1 can black beans, drained * ½ cup fresh cilantro * Juice of 1 lime Sauté onion, pepper, and garlic in avocado oil. Add spices and quinoa, then broth. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer until quinoa is tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in beans, cilantro, and lime juice. This is my twist on a Dominican staple! Quinoa and black beans provide fiber, plant protein, and complex carbohydrates. Remember, nutrition isn’t just about hitting a protein goal. It’s about giving your body the nutrients it needs to function, re
