🎬🔥 #CLINTEASTWOOD’S LEGACY LIVES ON! DISCOVER THE LEGENDARY HOG’S BREATH INN IN CARMEL! 🥩🍷 🏛️ @hogsbreathinn 📍 547 San Carlos St, #Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA 93921 ✨ MORE THAN A RESTAURANT. OVER 50 YEARS OF CARMEL HISTORY. Tucked away along a charming cobblestone passage in Carmel-by-the-Sea is a legendary restaurant where Hollywood history, family traditions, and unforgettable hospitality come together. 🎬 1970 — THE CLINT EASTWOOD LEGACY According to the restaurant’s official history, Hog’s Breath Inn began in 1970 with Clint Eastwood’s vision of a welcoming neighborhood gathering place where locals, travelers, and friends could enjoy great food, drinks, stories, and evenings beside a warm fireplace. ❤️ 1998 — THE MORCUS FAMILY CHAPTER When Eastwood stepped away, his longtime friend Kaiser Morcus reopened Hog’s Breath Inn in 1998. Kaiser and his son Lee Morcus operated the restaurant together from the beginning of this new chapter, preserving its character, hospitality, and connection to the Carmel community. After Kaiser’s passing in 2023, Lee continued their shared legacy. 🔥 2025 — HONORING THE PAST, EMBRACING THE FUTURE Lee led an extensive restoration, preserving the restaurant’s historic soul while renewing its fireside patios, redwood details, and intimate dining rooms. The philosophy remains simple: honor the history without losing what made this place extraordinary. 🥩 WHAT MAKES THE HOG UNFORGETTABLE? 🔥 In-house aged, fire-grilled steaks and chops 🦞 Fresh coastal seafood 🍷 Exceptional Monterey County wines 🥖 Locally crafted pasta and artisan bread 🍺 Regional craft beers 🌳 Romantic patios and iconic fireplaces 🍀 Genuine hospitality and timeless Carmel charm Every visit connects you to the flavors, people, and stories of California’s Central Coast. Clint Eastwood started the legend. Kaiser and #LeeMorcus carried it forward together.
