today we said goodbye to our howie bear🧸

if you know me, you know about my dogs. being an only child, he was the closest thing i’ll ever have to a brother and he was the best brother on earth to me and our 3 other doggies for 17 years. thank you for letting us dress you up in every costume we could find and for being bribed into just about anything with carrots and chicken.

i will always remember the day we adopted howie: september 9, 2009. we dropped him off at the shelter after a test run over labor day weekend and he could not stop crying so, we thought he was sad about leaving us. little did we know he would cry all the time about anything. the house already feels so quiet without him in it.

goodbye our baby boy. i will miss you in every moment of silence, every inch of floor left unlicked, and every pitter patter missing from your prancing paw steps. i love you more than you’ll ever know❤️ you are and always will be our sunshine☀️🌈

Another dream has come true: Bronze at a Junior Grand Prix! 🥉✨

I started this competition with so much positive energy, hope, and a big goal. I believed in myself and wanted to give it my all. ✨

Then came the mistake near the end of the short program. In that moment, my world fell apart. I could barely recover from it and truly thought: That’s it, it’s over.
But I didn’t want to give up.

I tried to pick myself up, keep fighting, and give everything I had left in the free skate. And today I can say: It was worth it!

I can hardly put into words how much this moment means to me. Standing on the podium after such a difficult start feels simply incredible.

Thank you to everyone who stood by me, believed in me, and kept me motivated. Thank you for every message, every kind word, and your incredible support. ❤️

A huge thank you to @lorenz.magri for the support on-site, to my entire coaching team, my mental coach, and all my supporters

This competition showed me that you have to keep fighting, even when you no longer believe it’s possible.
