Kenyan hairdresser and makeup artist Jony the Hairdresser, whose real name is John Mokuna Mungai, has revealed that he uses ladies’ washrooms because his dressing, appearance and soft voice make people mistake him for a lady.
Speaking during an interview with Kwambox on Thursday, October 22, Jony explained that he has little facial hair and does not have a deep voice, making him look more feminine.
He also revealed that whenever he visits clubs, he informs bouncers and staff that he is a man to avoid misunderstandings, especially when using the ladies’ washroom. He said he learnt to take these precautions after a past experience at a club, adding that people who dress differently should be careful about how they behave in public.

So apparently Wednesday nights are for Latin dancing now 😂
Never tried it before, but a friend kept telling me how much fun it was and somehow talked me into going.
I was pretty sure I’d be terrible at it.
And I was. 😂
But honestly? I had SO much fun. We laughed all night, I probably stepped on everyone’s feet at least once, and now I’m already thinking about going back.
Don’t tell her she was right. 🙄❤️

Last one is our most favourite one! 😅➡️
