I researched how to connect residents from both the old and new generations and focused on the similarities between them. Food plays a central role in many various cultures and to ensure that these precious dishes are not lost, I collected handwritten recipes from residents of Woensel-West. However these dishes don’t come along without certain memories or with a background narrative that has developed until how they dishes are as they are now. These dishes that comes together with their personal stories are collected in a recipe book, which is exhibited during the Dutch Design Week!
