This booklet features articles from the 1972 issue of The Art of the Book from UNESCO Courier magazine, presenting the original text and images that explore the craft of bookmaking, including its historical, technical, and aesthetic aspects. The 2nd 2024 Graduation Catalogue, designed for @yanqing__xu. Yan Qing uses her past projects and interests, and the cum laude projects of past years, to inform Artificial Intelligence(AI) programs. They are asked to generate 100 projects in her field of interest under pseudonyms and fictional identities, to the standard of excellent graduates. 2nd seeks to examine the desired educational outcomes of DAE while revealing the integration of AI in the design process of graduates today. It questions the role of the designer in a world of AI integration. — - 204 pages 170 x 239 mm Riso printed softcover Typefaces: MAD Sans Fill by Colophon Foundry and Mountain by @hawson_zhang by @jannieguo

Serving Stories I researched how to connect residents from both the old and new generations and focused on the similarities between them. Food plays a central role in many various cultures and to ensure that these precious dishes are not lost, I collected handwritten recipes from residents of Woensel-West. However these dishes don’t come along without certain memories or with a background narrative that has developed until how they dishes are as they are now. These dishes that comes together with their personal stories are collected in a recipe book, which is exhibited during the Dutch Design Week!
