While exploring Thailand I realised that the wings of scarabs, a delicacy for the locals, were being thrown away during the preparation of dishes. Mesmerised by their iridescent colours, I was determined to find a destination for these tiny treasures. And so the Scarab Collection was born: an ever-expanding series of nature-inspired jewellery pieces. These Scarab Bunch Earrings hold around 20 individually set, real scarab wings that gently move, and capture the light reflecting from the shells 🪲
