Nikalipa. Sasa sijui wamenipiga au ndio bei!! 🤔🤔. Yaani mzungu kavaa sasa imebakia elfu 20 nimalizie! What do y’ all think?? ☕️☕️.
The debate over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has increasingly been linked to questions about electoral outcomes. However, voter-list revision and election results are separate processes. SIR is intended to verify and update electoral rolls, while election results reflect the choices of eligible voters. Candidates, campaigns, voter preferences, local issues and broader political factors can all influence those choices. The Election Commission has also directed special drives in several states to enrol voters who may have been left out during the revision process. Therefore, assessing SIR solely through the lens of which party wins risks reducing a complex electoral process to a single factor. The wider political and electoral context also matters when evaluating its impact. #SayYesToSIR #SpecialIntensiveRevision #RightToProtestNotDisrespect #mews #india
