When at @thextakeover Zach McManus wanted to meet me to thank Elon for giving him the opportunity to use computers effectively. He is the 22nd @neuralink patient. I don’t know why Elon wanted to start Neuralink, but he saw a need and the possibility. Now they are waiting to help blind people see.
The Go-Go Community came out last night to show Daniyah and her parents, siblings, and entire family LOVE last night at @sycamoreoak ❤️🙏🏿 Watching the music help this family deal with the pain, grief, and trauma that come with this senseless violence really hit me. Music has always been more than entertainment in our community. It brings us together, helps us heal, and reminds us that we are not alone, even in our darkest moments. From 2020–2024, we lost 75 of our children, ages 17 and under. Think about that! These are our babies, our future, and our community’s greatest treasure. Yet, it has become so common that we risk losing our sense of outrage and urgency. THIS CANNOT BECOME NORMAL! I want to sincerely thank everyone who came out to support Daniyah’s family and show them that the Go-Go Community stands with them. Your presence, love, and support matter more than words can express. Now, we must continue to demand justice. The individuals responsible for taking this young soul’s life must be identified, apprehended, and held accountable as quickly as possible because this is not o.k.. Daniyah and her family deserve justice, and they deserve to know that their community will not forget her or allow her life to become just another statistic. WE HAVE TO DO BETTER! We cannot keep mourning our children, posting RIP messages, and then moving on until the next tragedy. We must turn our grief into action, our love into support, and our outrage into a commitment to protect our children. Daniyah matters. Her family matters. Every child matters. 💔🙏🏿 Watching her father Domo have the strength to get on the drums and celebrate his daughter just give us all strength to deal with trials and tribulations that we all deal with one way or another 🙏🏾 #JusticeForDaniyah #StopTheViolence #GoGoCommunity #OurChildrenMatter #DCStrong
A little overnight trip to Rome for some much-needed self-care and a haircut! I went to see my favorite hairstylist in Italy @massimoserini.official because my hair had gotten SO long and heavy. I really needed to cut off the ends and add some layers to give it more volume and movement, but also take some of that weight out. It’s actually crazy because my hair used to be so thin and unhealthy, and now I have almost too much of it! I’ve talked about my hair journey before, but I’ve really changed the way I take care of it over the years. I rarely use heat anymore, I drink bone broth and take collagen every single day, and I use hair masks and even my own olive oil to help keep it nourished. I’ve also been really consistent with my supplements, and I recently discovered a new one that I feel has made such a difference in my hair. Let me know if you want me to share more about it! I really believe that healthy hair starts from within, and it’s been so interesting to see how much of a difference these little daily rituals have made over time. Anyway, I’m so happy with how it turned out. It feels so much lighter, and I love all the layers!
