💪 ON-SEASON vs. OFF-SEASON: TWO DIFFERENT BODIES, TWO DIFFERENT GOALS!

Read the info below so you can get a better understanding. "My people perish from a lack of knowledge" God

In this video, you're seeing two IFBB Figure Pros at different stages of our bodybuilding journeys.

🏆 Coach Jessica – 5 Days Out From Competition

- Body Fat: Approximately 8%
- Extremely lean, competition-ready physique
- A temporary look achieved through months of preparation
- NOT a sustainable or healthy body fat percentage for most women year-round

💙 Coach Dee – Off-Season at Age 56

- Body Fat: Approximately 15–16%
- Maintaining muscle mass while allowing my body to recover and grow
- Eating more, training hard, and focusing on longevity
- Staying within a manageable competition off-season range because I plan to compete again

Here's what I want women to understand:

Jessica's physique isn't fake. It's REAL, but it's a temporary competition physique. What you see onstage is not what most competitors maintain throughout the year.

And while my body fat percentage is higher than Jessica's, it's still considerably lower than what's typical for women my age.

I'm an athlete. I maintain a leaner physique because of my sport, but that doesn't mean every woman should aim for my body fat percentage. Staying extremely lean can affect hormones, bone health, recovery, and overall wellness.

📊 Women's Body Fat Percentage Guide

Approximate general wellness ranges by age, not competition standards.

Age| General wellness reference
20–29| 21–32%
30–39| 22–33%
40–49| 24–28%
50–59| 24–30%
60+| 25–32%

As you age, a slightly higher body fat percentage can be normal and healthy. Hormonal changes, especially during and after menopause, can affect fat distribution, muscle mass, metabolism, and bone health. Maintaining adequate body fat can also support energy, recovery, and overall wellness. For women in their 40s and 50s, 24–28% body fat can be a perfectly healthy place to be! You do NOT need to be at 15% to look fit, build muscle, or be healthy.

Lekker makkelijk, die krullen? NOT! 😂

Gewoon even googelen!

Succes ermee! 🦁
