Sharing the stage with someone who lives this music the way you do, in front of thousands who feel exactly the same… hits different ❤️‍🔥And even more when it all happens in our beloved Barcelona, this amazing place we call home. Thanks, @durofestival, for trusting us with closing the first day of such a special edition of the festival. And thank you all for being there with us 🖤 Already wishing to be back! 📹 by @al3xbaltar_ #DuroFestival #Barcelona #HardTechno #Schranz

Happy belated birthday @hellojonte. Tokyo 2011. Still my favorite artist I’ve ever danced with. I don’t think you kids will ever understand. The club shows we did would eat up any concert, Coachella and everything above. I’m so sorry, not sorry. If you weren’t at Avalon or GreenHouse, you’ll never understand. He had the kids in a chokehold. Once upon a time, before there was so many talking about pronouns and living their truth, Jonte was at the forefront of being 100% unique and different! A force of nature. Truly one of one. A person no one could put in a box. The amount of looks… good luck. One minute he’s gluing a plastic headpiece to his head, next minute he’s wiggin it, then the Whitney wig😂. Then out of nowhere he wants to Avirex it out and be Thug and Cunt. Hence his word, Thunt. Hahahaha. A true chameleon. You never knew what he was going to give you next. For heaven sakes we did performance with i phones in our one pieces on our crotches, playing his video! Ahead is an understatement. And it wasn’t just his magic alone….it was who you brought together that was the blessing too. @ramonibaynes @gumminyc @kooan🕊️ @crayon_lee I went from stepping out of ballet class at Ailey to “use the bathroom,” when I was really trying to watch any class Jonte was taking, to dancing next to him in classes and becoming part of his team. Dancing with you when Gaga opened the club show we did in 2006, getting you and @ramonibaynes on Beyoncé, traveling the world together, losing loved ones together… my Libra sibling, I don’t take any of it for granted. You made me so much better in so many ways. The world was not ready for you 22 yrs ago my friend. But you were the blueprint for all these kids in so many ways. Give him his flowers yall Love you, KluKla. You are the Refrance lol #Madonna #Jonte #HankyPanky #WhosGotMyRefrance
