A company lost its ideal candidate by trying to save ₹13K a month, and the hiring manager says the decision backfired spectacularly. According to the manager, the candidate had four years of experience, an impressive portfolio and an excellent interview. She asked for ₹65K, comfortably within the advertised salary range of ₹60K to ₹70K. But when the manager approached the boss for approval, he reportedly instructed her to offer just ₹52K, believing the candidate wanted the job badly enough to accept less. The candidate immediately questioned why the offer was below the advertised minimum. The manager claims she was told to explain that the budget had changed, leaving her to deliver the excuse herself. After asking for 24 hours to consider the offer, the candidate declined the following morning. The boss reportedly reacted angrily, describing her as unprofessional, money-minded and insufficiently passionate about the company. The manager, however, believed the company had brought the rejection upon itself by refusing to honour its own advertised range. The company eventually hired someone else at ₹52K, but according to the account, that employee left within six months. The story has sparked discussions about employers who expect candidates to compromise on salary while demanding experience, skills and commitment. The biggest hiring mistake wasn’t losing the candidate. It was assuming she would accept less simply because she wanted the job. #Hiring #SalaryNegotiation #JobMarket #WorkplaceStories
Halloween 2026 🎃
A young woman who had been chasing her dream of becoming a pilot since childhood has been identified by her family as one of nine people killed in Sunday’s devastating plane crash in Palm Beach County, Florida. 💔 Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20, earned her pilot’s license at just 17 years old while still attending high school. She had reportedly logged more than 1,300 flight hours and was working as a commercial pilot. On November 1, Nathalia was serving as co-pilot aboard a private Learjet traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when the aircraft suddenly began losing altitude and crashed near a residential neighborhood, erupting into flames. All nine people aboard lost their lives. In the moments before the crash, the flight crew reported turbulence and ice buildup before issuing a desperate emergency call. Investigators have not yet determined what caused the aircraft to go down. Nathalia’s family remembered her passion for aviation and how proud she was to have accomplished so much at such a young age. Prayers to all nine families affected by this tragedy. 🕊️ Stay connected with more entertainment news and trending stories at OnsiteGlobalMedia.us (link in bio).
