I used to think peace was something I’d arrive at later. When the next deal closed. After the next goal. After I’d proven enough, built enough, become enough. I was always running towards a version of life where I’d finally get to slow down. This Fall, standing barefoot on a cold dock with leaves turning around me, I realized something. The trees don’t wait until they’re finished to let go. They release right in the middle of the season, a little at a time, and they’re still beautiful while doing it. I’m done waiting. I stood on one leg and found my balance. I reached higher than felt comfortable. I knelt by the water and breathed. And somewhere between shakiness and laughter, I felt it. I wasn’t on my way to peace anymore. I’ve become it. Strong enough to hold my ground. Soft enough to let life move through me. Both at the same time. That’s the practice. I’m grateful for every season that got me here. Especially the hard ones. They taught me how to be still. If you’ve been waiting for permission to slow down, this is it. What are you ready to let go of this season? 👇🏼

The one dark shadow of the tour was missing our leader , PK Katsis . This was the last tour he booked before he passed in August . So each show had the sheen of his booking . Still in his territory . And as we tore through the tour , each show became More precious as our physical connection receded . We spoke about this as a band and each show dedicated to him . Boy do we miss him . He’s not with us anymore yet with us all the time . Life is magic yet has these harsh mountains . This one’s for pk - Miss that guy 🖤
