Mina favorit-expansioner i The Sims 4 är helt klart:

During a recent interview, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar shared his views on maintaining attraction in marriage, suggesting that women should prioritize their fitness to keep their husbands from seeking attention elsewhere, calling it the 'sacred insecurity' of men🫠 #KhalilurRehmanQamar ( 📷: YT/ Zaini Podcast)

WHAT. A. WEEKEND. Still pinching myself that London Literature Festival @southbankcentre this weekend included conversations with Zadie Smith, Mustafa AND Patti Smith! And we’re only getting started… the Service95 Book Club curation continues until 1 November 📚❤️ @service95bookclub @service95

Because it’s too absurd for a woman to build the life she wants on her own. Shoutout to my dad and mom for raising an independent woman actually.

I’ve accumulated a LOT of these comments in the last couple years so I want to chat about it

I have a hard time understanding this statement personally, but maybe it’s because everyone I know that lives on the road worked HARD for this lifestyle and also gave up a lot of comforts in order to live it. Personally I had to save up for 3 years before I made it a reality and started my own business doing freelance videography and photography to leave my 9-5 in healthcare.

I feel like people often say this as an excuse for why they can’t live this way if they want to.

you do not need a trust fund to live on the road. remote work? Seasonal work? Yeah definitely, if you’re going to do it for longer than a couple months of savings.

Honestly most days I feel like you need a trust fund to live in an apartment or a house if anything hahaha. Now that I haven’t paid rent for almost 3 years that feels like a LOT of money.

The beauty of van life is you can live pretty dang cheaply if you want. If I’m staying put and stock up on groceries… there are no expenses outside of the “normal” recurring payments (insurance, phone bill, etc)

But yeah - if I was living off of “daddy’s money” (which my dad actually found these comments so insane considering how he raised me) I think I would have picked a different situation than a problem 1999 Chevy express I can’t stand up in that the mice love haha. (Don’t tell Betty. I love her to death)

What’s your perspective on this?
