On Wednesday evening, all departments within the school of SCAPVC held the official opening for the new 'Faculty of Arts' building!
The evening began with the Warwick Brass Society playing carols at Millburn House with speeches by David Coates and, head of SCAPVC, Stuart Hampton-Reeves. This was shortly followed by a procession down to the new building with staff and students from across the school.
Upon arriving at the new building, refreshments were kindly provided by the Warwick Catering services. Then, students from the Warwick Writing Programme spoke some amazing poetry to the crowd. Each of these speakers were greeted to a great reception and a loud round of applause.
To conclude the evening, Musical Theatre Warwick performed carols in the festive air!
The WWP would like to thank all students who attended this event 🌟

The three poems were brilliant! Each having something different to say and different styles of saying it. Big ❤️ to the Warwick Writing Programme and its student poets!
