The amount of compliments we got throughout Hersheypark about our kids was 😭😭🥹💛

People noticed how they waited until Abby was safely seated and they had moved her crutches to a safe place before finding their own seats on the rides. How they immediately ran to grab her crutches the second the ride was over. How they naturally looked out for her without ever being asked.

And to them, they aren’t going out of their way. They’re just hanging out with their sister.

The whole time they are learning patience, awareness, and true inclusion. They’re learning to notice the things other people might overlook and to think about someone besides themselves.

Here’s to raising kids that this world needs a lot more of. 💛

A father is a key figure in every boy’s life. He is the first model of masculine behavior, the initial example of manliness, strength, and self-confidence. He influences how a boy perceives the world, builds relationships, and relates to himself. A good father provides reliable support, protection, and unconditional love. He helps a boy become strong, brave, confident, responsible, fair, honest, and happy.
A boy observes how his father communicates with others, solves problems, and expresses emotions.
A father plays an important role in shaping a boy's self-esteem. If he praises his son for achievements, supports his endeavors, helps develop his talents and abilities, and loves him unconditionally—accepting him as he is, with all his strengths and weaknesses—the son will feel confident and valued.

Looking at @canyaman, I understand that his father, Güven, excelled in his role as a father! Can himself has often said that his father was always his role model.

Excerpt from the book:

"I decided that my adventure in the USA should end there (due to a conflict with my coach). My mother, my friends, and everyone I interacted with thought I was making a rash, impulsive decision. The only person who supported me was my father, whose sole concern was my emotional well-being."

"My father often repeated the phrase: 'If you are right, never back down, even if you have lost everything. Because if you retreat, one day you may come to hate yourself.'"

"I was nineteen years old. Before then, I hadn't paid much attention to my appearance; the only thing occupying my mind was my studies. Now, however, I had the freedom and lightness of a nineteen-year-old guy who could finally explore something new. So, I dedicated those three months to discovering a previously unknown world—the world of women. My father often told me that women are incredible beings, worth going to great lengths for, even at the cost of suffering. Speaking of my father, his secret weapon in communicating with women was dialectics. He always managed to evoke sympathy and trust in women—two fundamental elements needed to make them fall in love with him. He loved women, and women loved him.

President Donald Trump said Monday that he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss how to end the Ukraine war, while criticizing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
