How to perfectly candy nuts!

This is a technique I learned that makes some of the most addicting and delicious candied nuts you will ever have, especially if you season them with spices, salt, really whatever you like. Letting the simple syrup reduce allows all of the sugar to coat all the nooks and crannies of the nut and when they are fried it creates the most incredible crunch. I seasoned with a mix of different spices with salt and you genuinely can’t stop yourself from eating too many.

Despite frying often being seen as something tedious and difficult, I think it is made genuinely so much easier when you have the right tools, especially with @lecreuset The faster and more consistently you can fry the better the result, but also the quicker you can finish and cast iron is the way to go. Working in professional kitchens we always used cast iron pots and Le Creuset was a staple because they were so durable and could stand up to us using them every single day. With that being said I hope you all enjoyed learning how to candy nuts, it’s always fun revisiting techniques like these and as always feel free to comment below with any questions or message me directly :D

What would your life look like if it all worked out?

10 years ago, I was a broke university graduate living in a damp basement flat, desperately trying to figure out how to make money. Today, I’ve made over $50M with social media, I live in my dream house, drive my dream car, even get to spend my days flying around in a f*cking helicopter… more than any of that, I get to live life on my own terms.

But I don’t just say that to flex. I say it because I want to show you what’s possible. There is infinite money out there - and with social media, it’s never been easier to get Filthy F*cking Rich. And I am going to show you how…

roomie

The way this song came together is such a cute story! Me and Ludde were in Sweden working on the track, it was like 4 am. Ludde was looping the baseline and I was supposed to be coming up with melodies but I was being lazy, so instead I started watching a video my hubby Charlie sent me. He was home in LA, stoned and lonely, talking about this little lizard who lives under the lavender at our house and had become his new roomie. Somehow his cadance and pitch in the video worked perfectly over the beat! We immediately imported the message into the song project and that inspired us to write the rest of the song. Charlie doesn’t love being featured, but for the sake of the arts he agreed :) ❤️
