It's been a rough week. I lost a kitten this morning. Last week, I took in a sick kitten and was reluctant to share her because she needed her eye removed. I was sure I'd have time to share her story, but in the moment, I didn't have the energy to make a video where I would have to cover her eye in every shot. What seemed like a straightforward situation turned into a rollercoaster and I didn't want to put all of you through the stress I was feeling by sharing any of it. The rollercoaster involved an ER visit, many late nights, tons of supportive care, pushing up the enucleation and after she survived everything, she crashed this morning and passed while we were heading back to the ER. I recorded a video last night about the relief I felt because she was so alert and active without her eye and this morning, she was gone. So I might take some time to rest and recover. I have another foster for you to meet, but taking a breather to let the adrenaline rush pass is the priority right now. In the meantime, I will leave you a prime flat top pic and more evidence that the camera adds 10 lbs. I hope wide Baby Corn keeps you satiated for a bit.
Stay cozyyy :))
