What begins as a discovery about her family gradually pulls her into a dangerous world of palace politics, hidden secrets, power struggles and betrayal. Rimjhim is deeply devoted to her younger brother Avik. When Avik's position and future become threatened by people inside the royal family, Rimjhim decides that protecting him is more important than protecting herself. She is forced to grow up quickly and face people who want to use Avik as a pawn in their fight for power. One of the most complicated relationships in Rimjhim's journey is with Sameer. Their relationship develops through misunderstandings, conflict, trust and complicated emotions. Sameer becomes an important part of Rimjhim's struggle as she tries to balance her personal feelings with her responsibility toward her family. As Rimjhim becomes more involved with the royal family, she discovers that not everyone around her can be trusted. Old secrets begin coming out, people hide their real intentions, and Rimjhim repeatedly has to choose between love, family and duty. Her journey changes her from an innocent young girl into a strong and determined protector.
