There’s no turning back now….

The Pentagon says the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan will be livestreamed for the public to watch.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says Hasan will be executed at Fort Hood in Texas on December 3. “We’ll make sure that people are able to watch it, that it’s public,” Hegseth said, adding that Hasan is “going to get a firing squad of soldiers.” Pentagon officials confirmed the livestream but have not said which platform will carry it.

Hasan, a former Army psychiatrist, killed 13 people and wounded more than 30 others in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting. He was sentenced to death in 2013, and Trump approved the execution this week.

If it moves forward, it will be the first military execution since 1961. Military law experts say Hasan could still challenge it in civilian court, which could delay the date significantly.
