Regenerative Agriculture: the practice of restoring soil and promoting biodiversity to increase the carbon production while assisting in improving soil fertility and water cycle production.
How can we support and increase regenerative agriculture?
•Biggest contribute is how we spend our dollar. Buying a product is a dollar of support. So the more we support and purchase from farmers that are practicing regenerative farming the more we encourage it as a society. Where there is demand, there is production.
We vote with our dollar, so let’s try to consciously support who we want to promote.
•Supporting farmers markets + CSA boxes
•Education. A great documentary is Kiss the Ground! Podcast by Dr. Mark Hyman are an amazing place to start too!
