Food Education//

Regenerative Agriculture: the practice of restoring soil and promoting biodiversity to increase the carbon production while assisting in improving soil fertility and water cycle production.

How can we support and increase regenerative agriculture?
•Biggest contribute is how we spend our dollar. Buying a product is a dollar of support. So the more we support and purchase from farmers that are practicing regenerative farming the more we encourage it as a society. Where there is demand, there is production.
We vote with our dollar, so let’s try to consciously support who we want to promote.

•Supporting farmers markets + CSA boxes

•Education. A great documentary is Kiss the Ground! Podcast by Dr. Mark Hyman are an amazing place to start too! by @parsleyandfig

Wellness Wednesday//

We are bringing back our Wellness Wednesday series to highlight that health goes beyond the plate.

Our founder is a certified Health Coach + life long learner of holistic health. Her love for cooking is intertwined with her fascination of nutrition, our food system, mental health, community, movement, financial literacy, nature, + travel. She values connecting with loved ones over a simple meal of real food + enjoys watching the skies colors change from morning to night. If you’ve had the chance to chat with her, you’ll see her passion for different aspects of health immediately through conversation.

We will learn more about our founder throughout our several series we have in store for you, but for now let’s dive in!

We view health as a vessel to one’s best self + believe you can achieve it through a holistic approach. Our goal is to change the narrative around food + movement + remind you that health also includes your community, finances, creativity, spirituality, relationships + more. We want to help people reconnect with their roots, intuition and curiosity, so they can unlock their passion + fill their life with more joy.

Simple habits like the ones listed above are easy ways to make big shifts. Your daily habits shape each day, so if you are wanting change we encourage you to implement a new habit each week to give yourself time to adjust + grow. Small steps lead to big results.

We will share more next week about the value in habit swaps. And be on the look out for Food Education Fridays!
