Because a fiberglass RV wouldn't sacrificially absorb as much salt air and the surrounding legions of subarus would rust faster

Every single skateboarder who’s ever been in a contest has (at some point) dreamt 💭 of having that special “Contest Moment” in their lifetime. When the pressure is on, all eyes 👀 are on you and it comes down to your final run… or even the final trick - and you roll away victorious! The feeling of that moment ✨ was captured perfectly in the 2009 Skate Classic Film “Street Dreams” starring Paul Rodriguez, Rob Dyrdek, Ryan Sheckler, Terry Kennedy, Ryan Dunn (RIP 🙏) and more. When the main character Derek Cabrera (played by @prod ) lands his 360 flip crook - aka “The NAC” - on his final attempt, it represented every up and coming skater on the planet 🌎 who has dreamt being in that exact same situation. But what made it even more realistic was the fact that it went down at a real life contest inside legendary Skatepark of Tampa where the world’s top AM skaters actually compete every year. So with @spottampa hosting its 32nd annual Am Contest this weekend, we figured this would be the perfect time to pull out some of our favorite contest scenes from this cult classic!
