CLARITY I’ve been frustrated to see more false information, half truths, assumptions and lies being published in the mainstream media today by the times concerning the legal and justified actions my team and I conducted under the orders of our chain of command during an operational deployment. The old saying of nothing sells papers like the Royal family and the SAS, is clearly still applicable to the low life journo’s desperate to sell a story or get a cheap click. What the spineless reporters don’t get, is the impact it has on those involved. Not just personally, but our families, our children and those closest to us. After nearly 4 years of lies we had hoped that we would be afforded the dignity that we earned serving our country. Obviously not. Make no mistake about it, the sole cause and blame for this shit show lies directly at the door of Gwyn Jenkins and his “bullish” Legad. His shameful quest for “transparency” (his own admission) and his eagerness to throw good men under the bus was driven by his own selfish desire to deflect the attention away from his own failings as a leader and as a man in years gone by. Watching people come out of the woodwork to add their thoughts for political point scoring is both cringeworthy and disgusting. Ex generals, ex minister’s and political figures who have all found a voice now that the dust has settled and the personal and professional risk is low, were deafening in their silence at the time when they could of helped, have suddenly found some balls. This is no doubt due to a lack of moral courage and the fact it was only enlisted men involved. What’s of equal concern is the level of information (as inaccurate as it is) that the ambulance chasing journo’s have gained access too. It’s these rats that I have the most contempt for. Being betrayed is one thing. Being betrayed by your own is another crime altogether. There’s a special place at the gallows for those. I’m proud of my team, proud of our actions, proud of my country and proud of my service. I’m a patriot and that won’t ever change.

From beginner to Kona in 3 years 🥹 When I tied the start line of @ironman_uk Bolton in 2023 I wasn’t ready. My longest ride had been 80 miles. I’d never done an open water swim event. I’d only done 2 sprint triathlons. I fuelled with jelly babies and malt loaves. Somehow I crossed the finish line in 14.5 hours. That’s when first found out about Kona because I got a slot. It’s been a journey to finally get another and be ready (physically and financially lol) to take it and I’m so happy you’ve come along for it. I’m not the most naturally talented at the sport (expect for maybe cycling? Idk why though) and certainly haven’t come from some secret background in like rowing or anything. I was just a girl trying to lose weight to feel better about myself. Then we tripped and fell and ended up doing triathlons? The Top Things I Refuse to do as a Coach 🚫 . 1. I will never push a laundry list or cookie cutter list of PEDs. Every client is different in their journey. Not EVERYONE needs even needs PEDs. 2. I will never slash all your calories just to get the scale to move. Especially when we are trying to fix your metabolism, the last thing we need to do is tank it. I will guide you through the hard parts because it’s a marathon not a sprint. 3. Trust me, you won’t ever hear me say you can’t have a brownie. Throughout a clients journey, there are a time and place for “cheat meals”. It doesn’t mean we can enjoy them daily, but you don’t have to give them up forever. I focus on a balanced meal plan with variety so you can enjoy foods you love, without being miserable. 4. I won’t tell you what you want to hear, I tell you what you NEED to hear. If you’re slacking, I tell you. If you can’t stay on track, we have a talk. You don’t just hire me to get results, I give you the plan and accountability, you have to do the work. 5. I will never let a client set an unrealistic timeline for a goal. I have declined working with clients for bodybuilding shows when they come to me and say they want to do a show in 8 weeks, but they clearly have more body fat to lose. I’m not the coach for everyone. But I promise you, that I give a shit about you and your health. My coaching isn’t a copy & paste plan, it’s a program designed to help you individually reach your goals and build that confidence that truly makes you feel unstoppable.
