World No Beard Day!! #rvcjinsta
233 years ago today, marie antoinette was guillotined. marie antoinette was the last queen of france before the french revolution, she was executed by guillotine at the age of 37 on october 16, 1793. born in austria, she married the future king louis xvi at 14 years old and became queen of france at 18. known for her extravagant lifestyle, expensive fashion, and lavish spending, she became a symbol of the french monarchy’s excess while millions of french citizens struggled with poverty and hunger. following the french revolution, the monarchy was abolished, and her husband, king louis xvi, was executed in january 1793. nine months later, marie antoinette was convicted of treason and sentenced to death. one of the most famous stories surrounding her is the phrase “let them eat cake,” supposedly said in response to starving citizens having no bread. however, historians widely agree there is no evidence she ever said it.
Day 110. 1 day left, less than 2.5 miles, the victory lap. . Tomorrow is a day planned for the team and my friends and family that got me to not only the finish line but the start line all the way back on July 1st. It is our celebration together because I couldn’t imagine finishing this swim and not being able to give them a hug. . Marathon swim finishes are typically very lonely and it feels so special to have been able to plan this one with so many of you. Thank you again for being part of this journey.
Bobotoh, pastikan kamu sudah mengetahui akses masuk sesuai tiket sebelum tiba di stadion.
