If you love crispy chicken cutlets but dread the splatter, try this 🙌 @mealsbygiuliana’s Baked Chicken Cutlets turn golden and crispy in the oven, thanks to a layer of oil on the baking sheet. Comment ‘RECIPE’ to have the details sent to your DMs and keep tagging #feedfeed for a chance to be featured. INGREDIENTS: 1 1/2 pounds (about 4 to 6 cutlets) thinly sliced boneless, skinless chicken breasts Kosher salt, to taste Freshly ground black pepper, to taste 1 large egg 1 1/2 cups Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs, regular or gluten-free 1/4 cup olive oil or avocado oil, plus more as needed RECIPE: 1. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Pour enough oil onto a large rimmed baking sheet to completely coat the bottom in a thin, even layer. 2. Pat the chicken cutlets dry with paper towels. If necessary, pound them to an even thickness of approximately ¼ inch. Season both sides lightly with kosher salt and black pepper. 3. Beat the egg in a wide, shallow bowl. Place the breadcrumbs in a second shallow bowl. 4. Dip one chicken cutlet into the beaten egg, allowing the excess to drip back into the bowl. Transfer it to the breadcrumbs and press firmly so the crumbs adhere evenly to both sides. Repeat with the remaining chicken. 5. Arrange the breaded cutlets in a single layer on the oiled baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one. Gently press each cutlet into the oil so the bottom is evenly coated. 6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the bottoms are beginning to turn golden. Carefully flip each cutlet with a thin spatula. 7. Continue baking for 8 to 10 minutes, until the second side is crisp and golden and the thickest part of the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. 8. Let the chicken rest for 3 to 5 minutes before serving. https://thefeedfeed.com/mealsbygiuliana/crispy-baked-chicken-cutlets Chicken cutlets, easy recipe, dinner ideas
