🌞 Easy crew!! 🌞

Excited to launch Tunda page finally and share with everyone what I’ve been working on for the past few months…🌀

But before we do that, I’m super excited to announce TIRTA will be taking over the AAJA airwaves tomorrow for a special mix showing Indonesia’s eclectic electronic scene 🇮🇩

TIRTA is a Bristol-based, London-born DJ who blends together music from the East and West as they explore their own mixed British and Indonesian heritage. TIRTA’s been killing it in the club scene for the likes of Half East Records, Eastern Margins and KITA and they deliver the same energy in this mix that they describe as a ‘bit house, bit percussive, bit heavy and a bit experimental’… can’t go wrong with a bit of that! 🪩

For the second hour I’m trying something a bit new… I’ll spend 15 mins breaking down how a Gaelic folk song - Eilean a’ Cheò - has been sampled in electronic music (including my own take on the vocal) and then digging into 45 mins of meditative bass-weight and percussive chuggers to close off the mix - featuring music from @deliansound @nurivibes @fieldmotionn + more (& 3 Avran originals) 🧘‍♂️

Keep your eyes peeled for more updates about the show, page, and TIRTA’s mix with some tune showcases coming up soon :)) 👀

Love,

Fergus / Avran
