This October, we will be OFFICIALLY launching the 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, our not-for-profit arm, which will continue our work to elimiate the barriers that exist for girls and women in sport because girls who play sport become women who lead.
The Foundation will focus on Community Impact, Advocacy and Research to:
- Support educational workshop delivery in schools and sports clubs
- Provide financial support to athletes and sports teams for equipment, travel, kit and other essential needs
- Fund critical research in women’s sport to advocate more forcefully for systemic change in policy and culture.
- Lead powerful advocacy and visbility campaigns that dismantle gender bias and challenge societal norms.

But then our governing body puts a stop on allowing women and girls opportunities to play the sport they love due to the massive affiliation increase where we are now the most expensive affiliation to play in wales! My club is situated within a deprived area and I have lost so many women and girls because they simply can’t afford the extra per year and especially given a months notice that affiliation was increasing by 150%!!!!
