Delhi Police deta!ned Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on October 16, 2026, ahead of the party’s planned ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ gathering at Central Park, Connaught Place, New Delhi. Police cited prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) and the absence of permission for the gathering.

👉🏼 Police Cite Restrictions - Police had served Dipke a notice warning him against proceeding with the proposed march.

👉🏼 Planned Tiranga Gathering - The event was intended to involve waving the national flag. Dipke questioned the restrictions in a video, asking why the police were stopping him.

👉🏼How can authorities and protɇsters address such disagreements without confrontation? Share your views in the comments.
