Here’s a little piece of our story, the proposal:

✨Welcome to Part 3 of Archa & Karupz in Bali✨

Two years ago, I remember that for a brief moment when I swiped right on him, my brain whispered, “He’s trouble.” At that point in life, I had honestly given up on dating and felt like I had nothing to lose. It was either me falling in love or going through horrible arrange marriage matches (which I didn’t really want) 😏

So, I took a chance and went to Bali with a random guy I met on Bumble, and yes, my brain was right! He was trouble—but in all the good ways possible 😇

I was in love with him from the first week of meeting him (when I knew nothing about him) in NYC 🗽 Now, two months later, in Bali, that love grew and grew, and I was so close to screaming “I love you” every minute we spent together. But you see, I had never in my life said “I love you” to anyone first, and he wasn’t going to change that 🗿

So, I waited to see if he would; I secretly wished and prayed that he’d feel the same. I even texted my friends that I was going to call it quits after the Bali trip if he didn’t make me his girlfriend 🫠

Almost at the end of the trip, we went to the Gates of Heaven. We waited almost three hours to take photos, and by the time our turn came, I wasn’t really expecting anything. I just wanted to get it over with 🥲

And there he was, out of nowhere, on one knee, asking me if I’d be his girlfriend, his forever 🥰

The way my heart screamed, the way the little girl in me felt so safe for a second, the way the woman in me felt so calm for a second—it was unreal. It seemed like that question was everything I had been waiting for in life. I literally knew this was the man I was meant to spend the rest of my life with😍🥹😭
