I always wanted to retire and become a florist by the sea but when a friend asked me to create her wedding florals, something magical happened…

A door had opened, a glimmer of a future sparkled through that I couldn’t turn away from.

The year before that, I had a chance meeting with a floral designer and had, what I could only describe as, an awakening. The combination of these two circumstances commanded inside me, a quiet, unrelenting whisper, asking me to BEGIN… and so I did, and I have not looked back!

Her wedding was three years ago this month.

What had started as a pipedream, taught me so much more… the unbecoming of everything our society had taught me to be. An authenticity in myself that would establish the deepest and strongest sense of purpose and direction that I have ever known… one that would permeate through every aspect of my life.

Sure, it’s tough. The path forward isn’t always clear but when it feels right, it glows.

Thank you to my friend @g_meaks83 who helped to open the door. To all my friends and family who are out biggest supporters and to the couples and supplier friends who continue to trust me to be my most creative and authentic self. You know who you are!
