AND GIRL YOU GOT ME SAYING...
What an incredible success Thrive & Lead was at @avanceglobalevents 💫 @vanessasantosleon & @pattyarvielo you guys are true visionaries, and I am so happy to be in your world! What you’ve created is so much more than an event. You brought together some of the most influential, accomplished, and inspiring women, creating a space filled with purpose, connection, and possibility. I had the honor of leading a panel titled “We Don’t Compete, We Multiply” alongside the incredible @elsamariecollins @courtspritzer @stephaniemvalencia A conversation that inspired and taught me so much about how we show up and create space for one another. Being surrounded by women who are not only shaping industries but creating opportunities for others was truly inspiring. I was so grateful for the opportunity to share the vast vision for @modernmuze and the community we’re building. But as much as I came to share, I left having gained so much more. The wisdom, honesty, and perspectives shared by these women were invaluable. One of my biggest takeaways? The most powerful women don’t just open doors for themselves. They hold them open for others. Thank you, Vanessa and Patty, for creating a space where connection becomes collaboration, conversations turn into opportunities, and we’re reminded that another woman’s success never diminishes our own. Here’s to more rooms like this, bigger tables, and all the incredible things we can build together. We don’t compete. We multiply. ❤️ and thank you @avanceglobalevents @garyacosta_nahrep for making this possible, you guys are amazing leaders! #ThriveAndLead #WeDontCompeteWeMultiply #ModernMuze #BeYourOwnMuze
Drake faces a lawsuit over “Janice STFU.” Songwriter Aviel Calev Hirschfield alleges its chorus is “literally identical” to his 2026 demo. He says he sent the hook to producers FNZ before “Iceman” dropped. “Fifteen seconds in, Avi was stunned to hear Drake perform word-for-word, note-for-note, beat-by-beat, the exact same chorus that he (Avi) had recorded and sent,” the lawsuit alleges. His demo reads: “Reach me, baby/ Call my phone and say you need me, baby/ I’m so green, you gotta teach me, baby/ From Vancouver, you a BC, baby/ Pull up Maybach, beep beep, baby/ And my shit came with the heat seats, baby/ Swear my label gotta free me, baby/ Blow on me just like some green tea, baby.” Drake’s attorneys allegedly “shamelessly refuse to acknowledge Avi’s authorship,” despite receiving his audio files and metadata. “Drake and/or his representatives are instead taking the absurd position that Avi — a massive fan of Drake who has co-written a hit song with him in the past and has aspirations of working with him in the future — has manipulated the metadata in his recording files to make it appear (falsely) that the copyrighted work preceded ‘Janice STFU,’” reads the complaint. “Such a deception would constitute career suicide by Avi.” Hirschfield co-wrote Beyoncé’s “Heated” with Drake. He is suing Drake, OVO Sound and Universal Music Group, alleging they “robbed Avi of the reputational benefits and substantial compensation he deserves for his contribution to Drake’s biggest hit in many years.” He wants credit and royalties. Drake’s representative declined comment.
