There’s so much to say about this painting, how it just took over me. My love for the northern rivers and Mullumbimby, a cute little hippie town in Bundjalung country which I’m lucky to call my home. I gave so much of myself into this painting that I found so much of myself in the process.

I painted the road on which I drive, and many others everyday but never have a chance to stop and admire. Such is just a speckle , a moment of the beauty in this area.

I scraped off bits of paint from my palette which I glued onto the painting, and used textured paste which makes the painting 3D

Thank you for the overwhelming kindness and love of this painting, she’ll be hanging in the sushi shop in Mullum in about a month if anyone wants to check her out!
