HAPPY #EARLYDECISION APPLICATION DEADLINE DAY! 🤘🧡 Swipe to hear from our Panhellenic community about what made UT feel like home! 😇 Nina Galbraith (ΠBΦ PC ‘24), shares why she chose UT: “I grew up my whole life a Texas fan and going to the football games, and even then I knew it was where I wanted to be. When senior year came and I got into Texas, it was an easy yes and I never looked back!!” Tessa Neece (ΔΓ PC ‘25), shares why she chose UT: “Growing up in Austin, I dreamed of one day being a Longhorn, and now getting to live out that dream has been more special than I could have imagined. Texas has given me lifelong friendships, endless opportunities and a community I’m so proud to be part of. Hook ‘em!“ Lillian Poland (AXΩ PC ‘26), shares why she chose UT: “Texas offered such a good balance between academics and school spirit, so it was an easy choice. I’m also super happy to stay in Austin because this is the best city EVER!” Addison Hale (ZTA PC ‘26), shares why she chose UT: “Being a fifth-generation Longhorn, I grew up dreaming of going to Texas, especially watching my mom, who’s always been my biggest role model. From growing up going to football and baseball games to now working with Texas Basketball and pursuing a future in sports marketing, I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else!” Ayana Challagalla (AΞΔ PC ‘23), shares why she chose UT: “When the time came to choose where I would spend the next four years, Texas simply felt like home. I’m forever grateful for making that decision.“ Barri Seitz (AEΦ PC ‘23), shares why she chose UT: “I’m a second generation, out-of-state Longhorn but never thought I would go to UT. But from the moment I got into Texas, I knew this was my school. The eyes of Texas are always upon you, and being a student here means constantly being inspired to live your best self as a student, as a friend and as a leader.“ Lauren Henderson (AΔΠ PC ‘26), shares why she chose UT: “I chose the University of Texas because there is no other place in the world that shows me that I can be not just anything—but everything. I can go from researching in a lab one day to cheering on our football team the next, or taking a break f

Azərbaycan Baş Prokurorluğu Türkiyə vətəndaşı, “Şanlıurfa Olay” qəzetinin köşə yazarı Cəlal Çiftçi barəsində cinayət işi açaraq onu beynəlxalq axtarışa verib. Prokurorluq Çiftçini sosial şəbəkələrdə hakimiyyətin zorla ələ keçirilməsinə çağırışlar etməkdə, dini nifrət və düşmənçiliyi təşviq edən materiallar yaymaqda ittiham edir. Çiftçinin sosial media hesabında paylaşdığı bildirilən qısa videoda hərbi geyimli silahlı şəxs prezident İlham Əliyevin təsviri olan küçə lövhəsini aşırır. Görüntünün real hadisəni əks etdirmədiyi və süni intellekt alətlərindən biri ilə hazırlandığı görünür. Cəlal Çiftçi sözügedən videonu Azərbaycanda məktəblərdə hicabla bağlı məhdudiyyətlərə etiraz olaraq paylaşıb. O, bu məhdudiyyətlərə görə Prezident İlham Əliyevi tənqid edir. Baş Prokurorluğun oktyabrın 16-da yaydığı məlumata görə, Çiftçiyə qarşı üç maddə üzrə ittiham irəli sürülüb. Onunla bağlı istintaq hərəkətlərinin aparılması üçün Türkiyə hüquq-mühafizə orqanlarına müraciət edilib.
Skanda Puran, Vaishnava khanda, Purusottama-ksetra-māhātmya 12.64-82: Shiva's devotee Kesiraj fought against Lord Krishna. Then Shiva also attempted to fight against Lord Krishna on behalf of his devotee. Then Shiva discharged his Pāśupata missile against Lord Krishna's Sudarsan. Then Shiva's Pāśupata missile became ineffective and Vārāņasī was burned, Shiva became very afraid And hence Mahādeva prayed: # महादेव उवाच : "सृष्टोऽहं तमसा नाथ त्वत्प्रभावानभिज्ञकः । तत्क्षमस्वापराधं मे त्राहि मां शरणागतम् ॥ ६४ ॥" Siva said, "I have been created out of Tamoguņa. I am ignorant of your power. Hence forgive my offence. Save me. I have sought refuge in you O God (Vishnu)." God (Vishnu) said to Siva: "How has such an evil-mindedness beset you at this time? O Śambhu, for the sake of an insect king, you have come to fight with Me! How many examples of my power have not been known to you, O Dhūrjați (Śiva). It is true that your Pāśupata missile cannot be vanquished by Suras and Asuras. But My Sudarsan chakra is a form of My Anger. It cannot spare even you." # महादेव उवाच : "यत्तु मूढतया देव अवलेपः कृतो मया । ८२ ॥" Shiva replied: "On account of my stupidity, O Lord, I've been arrogant." Formerly Śambhu had secured a boon from Vişņu who had been pleased by his devotion. Vishnu said to Shiva, "On being remembered by you I shall invigorate your missile. But if you go against me, it will become ineffective." . Jai Sri Vishnu ❤️ 🙏 . #vishnu #krishna #narayana
