(english & spanish below) Op Wereld Daklozen Mensen Dag 10 oktober waren er over hele wereld acties. Hun strijd, onze strijd, internationale solidariteit! Leve de woonopstand! @sindicatlloguer @inquilinato_madrid @woonopstand @bondprecairewoonvormen.nl woonopstand.nl - - - - - On World Homeless People's Day, October 10, actions took place all over the world. With this message at the national housing protest in Amsterdam, we want to support our Spanish comrades in their fight for housing justice. The death of Maricarmen shows us that capitalism and housing insecurity are intrinsically tied. By coming together, we can claim housing rights, prevent evictions, and change the system that exploits us. Their fight, our fight, international solidarity! Rise up for housing! Day 1 of a 4-day bike trip on one of Canada’s longest bike paths. Comment “Day 1” for the GPX file 🚴🏻📍 Le P’tit Train du Nord is an old railway line through the Laurentians, now a dedicated cycle path stretching over 200km. We rode the whole thing there and back over four days, more than 400km, and timed it for the fall colours. Day one runs close to 100km from Saint-Jérôme to Mont-Tremblant, starting on compact gravel before turning to pavement, with old train stations converted into cafes to stop and refuel along the way. We got caught in a bit of rain, dried off at 83 Nord, and rolled into Tremblant with the mountain coming into view. Day 2 takes us north toward Mont-Laurier. Follow along for the rest of the trip. #cycling #biketouring #tremblant #quebec #cyclingroutes
