One of the perks of being a graphic designer is that when your birthday comes round each year, you can design your own birthday party invitations based on your current mood (which could also prove to be quite tricky if your moods tend to fluctuate frequently like mine)! 😅🎭🤹

But what's really cool about designing a "non-briefed" invitation, is that you can design whatever your little heart feels like designing, and no one can say "make the logo bigger"! 🤭👊🏼

What's even cooler, is that sometimes, if you really just sit back and "let it flow", you will end up with the most bizarre choice of elements all on one page: colours that don't match or compliment one another, fonts that don't follow any set of rules - basically a design that doesn't follow any convention. And if what you've just designed is a reflection of you in your "present being", then regardless of how it turns out, isn't that beautiful?

This design really is "all over the place" and much like a packet of Liquorice All Sorts: some will hate it, some might love it... And to me that's the definition of a perfect design 🙌🏼🖤🌸🧡🪲
