it began small in november 2021, 5 months into my @medicalmedium lifestyle and healing path. an oblong patch of red bumps started to cluster on the lower half of my right index finger. it fluctuated between feeling torturously itchy to an annoying burning sensation. then began the cracking. then the patches were spreading like wildfire to my other fingers, my whole hand, and to my other hand. the patches grew into colonies then into whole countries spreading past my wrists toward my elbows. it was too bad for me to look at and i couldn’t bring myself to photograph it. i was reminded of a brief time when i suffered from a “weird bout of rash or dermatitis” when i was a teenager. then came my “aha” 💡 moment…

“a skin condition such as eczema or psoriasis normally isn’t a quick reaction to a food just eaten. like chemical sensitivities, it’s more of a slow build, which means that it can make itself known at any time…truth is, the dermatoxins causing your skin flare-up took time to be produced and released up through the skin.” - @medicalmedium from Liver Rescue

i was so focused on my hypothyroid and thyroid nodule that this emergence of eczema came as a complete surprise…at first. now that i better understand what was happening to my body from @medicalmedium information, this was not a surprise at all.

i clearly am struggling with EBV given my current thyroid issues. i now realize i have likely been battling EBV most of my life after remembering that i had this type of “rash” before (but not to this extent). EBV was waiting and wishing for this moment to proliferate after my immune system took a hit from a new medical treatment.

thank god for these “aha” moments 💡 on this @medicalmedium journey. one would think i’d lose total faith and blame the @medicalmedium cleanses for this newish symptom. but it really wasn’t new. it was waiting. and that’s ok, because i’m ready to take this on and heal. the “aha” moments strengthen my faith and signal that i’m on the right path.
